~ Nadima will be flying in to solo and rejoin Maelstrom at this special event that helps to raise funds for the fight against breast cancer. If there is one show that you make this year, this is the one to attend. Many dancers from around the nation will converge on the stage at the Highdive to raise funds for this worthy cause. We ask you all to come to this show and help Maelstrom, Pangaea Dance, and many others raise money for breast cancer research, cancer support services, and women's health educational programs. The performers are donating their time and talents so that all monies raised from ticket sales will be donated to a Breast Cancer Research charity yet to be named.

Mark your calendars for another great Toymaker Music event: the 6th annual Barnyard Boogie happening somewhere near Peoria, IL on November 3rd, 2007. This is always a great event with 12 hours of really amazing DJ's! One word of warning - dress warmly! As you may have guessed, the event does take place in a barn. However, last time we checked there were no cows in residence.
Bastet will be there bellydancing with her friend Jezka. Thought Maelstrom was all about the industrial music? Come see their hidden techno side and support the people who brough the original lineup of Maelstrom together to start dancing as a duo.

Once again, Maelstrom will be represented at the annual Halloween Lix show. This year Bastet will be appearing solo, as Nadima's schedule prevents her from voyaging to the Midwest. The theme this year is Cirque du SoLix so come out in all your best finery for a Halloween you'll never forget... or more likely not remember :)
The event will include a haunted basement, skits by Lix, bellydancing by Bastet, tricks AND treats, a fetish "area", and soooo much more! We hope to see all you guys and gouls out in force!
